Ashley and Jared got married this past July, with a summer wedding in the woods at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama (which is very close to my heart since my husband and I had a state park wedding!).
The bride wanted to stick with browns, tans, and ivories. With a very vintage-esc lace ivory wedding gown, ivory stacked cupcakes, and the texture of wood and browns in the little cabins where they said their “I do”s, the invitation was a preview of the day to come!
For the invitation we went with an ivory linen paper with dark brown text. A lace band was added as a special touch.
Ashley actually picked out the tree (which was a stamp she liked!… cute) that is seen on the back of the envelope. I repeated branches from the tree throughout the suite. She was going to use the same stamp on different pieces for her wedding. Such a great idea for consistency and a personal touch!
Directional Cards were included with the invitations to ensure guests arrive with ease.
A few folded Name Cards for “Bride,” “Groom,” “Family,” and “Wedding Party” were done with the same ivory linen paper.
I hope Ashley’s wedding was everything she ever dreamed of, and I wish her and Jared many, many happy years of wedded bliss!
