Whether you’re wanting to announce your graduation or let people know about a graduation celebration, this post card is a great way to do just that. This Graduation Announcement Postcard, is personalized with your picture and information. It is printed on either our eco-friendly Ivory or White Linen Card stock, giving a vintage/antique style for your monumental day. The paper differences are shown in the last image.

This Graduation Announcement Postcard (6×4 inches) is designed with a picture provided by you (a horizontal picture with some negative space, either on the right or left, will work best for this format, since the information banner will be on one side, as shown). It also include the graduate’s name and graduation information, in the banner on the front, and more details on the back. I will include only what you provide. Information can be changed from what is shown. 

With this postcard design, no envelope is needed for mailing, and only requires a postcard stamp. 

One the Postcard shown, the school logo (“C”) is shown and used. I have included some other options in the fourth image if you do not have a school logo to provide. You can choose a graduation hat or paw print instead. Any other symbols you have in mind can be done, but there will be an additional design fee for the time involved in altering the design. 

*Colors can also be changed to match school! Please let me know what colors you’d like. You can send a reference photo for colors, if you have one. 

The information can be changed to include party information, if you’d like.

Lauren contacted me about these custom invitations for a Christmas Open House she was hosting. Her request was as follows:

“I’d like to have a birdcage on the front with a bird on it & maybe some greenery with whatever those little red balls are called.. those Christmasy looking green leaves with the little red thing hahaha. I’m sure that makes a lot of sense. Anyway, that graphic, with “You are cordially invited….” in a script font on the front, and then the details of the party on the inside.“

And then she followed up with, “I want them to be very classy.. I’d like them to open up (not sideways). I’m thinking deep crimson (not apple) red envelopes and a creme colored card.. black birdcage with the outline of a small bird perched on it along with “Christmas like” details.. I’m not particular about those details.. maybe holly berries or twinkle lights! I have no doubt about your ability to execute beautiful artwork, so I know they’ll be great. Anything festive you think might look good.. I just don’t want a ton of color added.. small pops will be good…“

I really like when a client has an idea of what they are wanting, which she definitely did! It was fun turning her ideas into a physical product she could share with others. See how they turned out…

I created a custom hand-drawn illustration with pens and watercolor, then added the text Lauren provided (which has been changed for the privacy of my client). I printed them on the cream linen (shown up close in picture 2), which worked great with the red envelopes.

She was very pleased with how they turned out, and I hope her Open House was a smashing success!

We met at our house to open the gifts and enjoy snacks before heading to dinner. We had a spread of color-coordinated candies, quiches, and cucumber-fused water!

We ate at Solario in the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, which was so fantastic! Such a great atmosphere, and authentic Mexican food. PLUS… it’s in the gorgeous setting inside the Opryland Hotel!

We had a great time celebrating our soon-to-be bride! She sported the veil the entire night!!
